Chiropractic Care is a science-based, drug-free alternative that is effective in alleviating a number of conditions, including back and neck pain, headaches, sports injuries, and motor vehicle injuries, to name a few. Originating from chiro – ‘hand’ + Greek praktikos ‘practical’, chiropractic is a manual-based therapy implemented in treating conditions of the neuromusculoskeletal system.

While chiropractic is still primarily focused on hands-on techniques to diagnose and treat the muscles and joints of the body, it has evolved to include additional conservative treatments, such as nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle modifications to achieve optimal health.

As a holistic medicine model, we form a health treatment plan individually tailored to achieve your health and wellness goals.

An initial appointment will include a thorough history and physical examination. If determined that your condition will not benefit from chiropractic care, we will refer you to the healthcare professional best suited to your needs.

Some chiropractic-related ailments we treat

Neck PainIf you experience neck pain, treatment may include spinal adjustments, joint mobilization, muscle release techniques, muscle stimulation, therapeutic exercises, and lifestyle changes

HeadachesWhether you suffer occasional or frequent headaches, it can affect a good night’s sleep and day-to-day activities. Manual therapy, soft tissue therapy and holistic modalities may be recommended.

TMJDTemperomandibular Joint (Jaw) dysfunction happens when the hinge connecting the upper and lower jaw isn’t working as it should. Chiropractic adjustments and manipulation can help restore movement.

IASTMAssisted Soft Tissue Mobilization is a technique used to break up scar tissue resulting from injury or surgery and promote healing. Treatment may include traditional chiropractic manipulation, or an adjustment, as well as instrument-assisted adjusting (Activator), stretching, muscle work, or other techniques.

Low Force ChiropracticLow-force techniques are particularly appropriate for patients who have recently experienced trauma and for patients who are especially sensitive, nervous or excited, such as young children and those who are new to chiropractic.
