It is good to know what to expect when you book an appointment for chiropractic care with Dr. Natasha. We look forward to seeing the whole family soon.
Natasha focuses on pediatric and prenatal care; however, treatments for various conditions are available for all individuals from birth and beyond.
Your initial visit will include an extensive history and physical exam to determine the source of your complaint. Typically, treatment occurs in the first visit if no further examination (such as medical imaging) is warranted.
Treatment will typically include a chiropractic adjustment. This involves a joint that has been found to be restricted or limited in motion and imparting a quick, shallow thrust to stretch the tissues surrounding the joint and thus return the desired mobility to the joint. Often this will be followed by manual stretching of involved muscles and exercises or stretches to practice at home.
Follow-up appointments are scheduled according to the severity of your condition.

Often, the last symptom we experience when our joints are not working optimally is pain. For a prolonged, active and healthy lifestyle, it is important to keep the joints functioning optimally. Much like regular eye and dental exams, chiropractic care can assess the joints of the body and restore or improve motion before it becomes painful and limits your daily activities.
The frequency of preventative care will depend upon the daily demands you put on your body; for example, athletes may require more frequent visits due to the demands of training.
Chiropractic is a family affair
Chiropractic can benefit the whole family! Birth parents may find relief throughout pregnancy with regular care. Adjustments are safe and effective for babies and children, alleviating discomforts from injuries acquired during daily play.
While chiropractic is still primarily focused on hands-on techniques to diagnose and treat the muscles and joints of the body, it has evolved to include additional conservative treatments, such as nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle modifications, to achieve optimal health.
As a holistic medicine model, we form a health treatment plan individually tailored to achieve your health and wellness goals.
